Strider, Morgan, Remi, Ellie
Elizabeth is an avid dog lover and a devoted pet parent. She has grown up side by side with them and wishes to give back some of the love and understanding they had continually and unconditionally shown her.
The second of her two advanced degrees is in social work and she has received her license. Her knowledge of human behavior and development has carried over to her knowledge of animal behavior. The empathy, warmth, and non-verbal cues used in her work with people parallel her work the animals.
Due to her passion for animals, while trying to give clients the best service she is able, Elizabeth continues to read, study, and take courses in order to advance her knowledge base of animals. She has attended classes in pet first aid from VESCONE (Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Care of New England) and has recieved her pet sitting certification through NAPPS (National Association of Professional Pet Sitters).
She believes strongly in learning animals' communications styles, their psychology, and language. Why make them learn our language and needs without learning theirs? Being attuned to your dog should be like being attuned to your human child.
Elizabeth and Strider look forward to having fun with your dog while making him or her comfortable in their Wayland home!
We prefer to think of ourselves as a bed and breakfast rather than just a hotel so let your dog vacation too!
